At Her Table is a Canberra-based social enterprise that creates meaningful spaces where women can gather, connect, and engage in open conversations about life, faith, and values.

We worked with At Her Table to design a theory of change, outcomes measurement framework and survey tools that will help them to better understand their impact.

Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group (BWNG) is a non-profit, locally focused organisation that provides essential community services to the people of Gloucester and surrounds.  

‍

We’re working with the Bucketts Way team to upgrade their clinical assessments from pen and paper to digital data collection using Salesforce NonProfit Cloud. This will reduce the need for manual data entry, improve the quality and consistency of data, and make the assessment process smoother for staff and clients.

‍

We’re also using Tableau to bring together this clinical assessment data with other client data in reporting dashboards, which will help the team better manage risk and gain insights into community need.

‍

Community Options is a not-for-profit organisation that connects Canberrans who need help to the best support options available to them.

‍

We have set Community Options up with a Salesforce NonProfit Cloud system to manage their client data, including streamlining their referral processes through an online form. This online form has made it easier for other organisations to provide referrals, helping Community Options to connect with clients who need help.

‍

Fearless Women is dedicated to helping girls and young women in the ACT fear less and live life with confidence, courage, resilience, and hope. They provide education, mentoring and counselling services, with a goal to create a safe, inclusive community that encourages and equips girls and young women to be who and what they want to be.

‍

We provide ad-hoc advice on data to the Fearless Women team, including support for their Salesforce NPSP system.

‍

We also helped Fearless Women set up their system for their new counselling program, using the Program Management Module in Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack, which supports them to manage sessions and track attendance. The record access and data security features of Salesforce mean that all staff can see whether a participant is enrolled in counselling, but only the counsellors can see session notes and details. This gives Fearless Women the right balance of transparency and privacy to manage their new program.

Flat Out is a Victorian not-for-profit, community-based organisation that aims to prevent women, trans and gender-diverse people from entering and returning to prison.

‍

They provide outreach support to the Victorian women’s prisons and work with criminalised women, trans and gender diverse people — many of whom have experienced incarceration, homelessness, family violence, mental health issues, and alcohol and other drug use.

‍

We’re working with Flat Out and their monitoring and evaluation consultant, Jo van Twest Farmer, to streamline and improve their data collection, including setting up a Salesforce NonProfit Cloud system.

‍

This work is funded by a grant from the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance’s Empowerment Fund.

Health Justice Australia is the national centre of excellence for health justice partnership, supporting collaborations between services to achieve better health and justice outcomes for vulnerable communities.

‍

Health Justice Australia received a grant from the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance’s Empowerment Fund to deliver a Partnership Evaluation Program to help Victorian health justice partnerships understand and demonstrate their impact.

‍

We worked alongside the Health Justice Australia team to create a practical, accessible program with a focus on evaluating in a way that supports partnership and aligns with shared values and goals. Together, we:

• developed five self-guided, one-hour learning modules covering topics like evaluating in partnership, understanding HJP outcomes, and collecting meaningful data

• facilitated three hands-on online workshops where participants shaped their own program logic, crafted evaluation questions, explored outcome measurement tools, and built a clear monitoring and evaluation plan.

Meridian is a community-controlled, peer-led organisation that provides health and social support services to the Canberra community.

‍

We’re supporting Meridian to improve and streamline their data collection across their many community programs. This project includes migrating Meridian from Salesforce NPSP to the newer Salesforce NonProfit Cloud, allowing Meridian to take advantage of new tools and features.

‍

We’ve also helped Meridian set up the Salesforce tools they need for their new Care Finder program, providing inclusive support, advocacy, and referral services to older Australians in the ACT and surrounding regions.

‍

The Data Learning Community is for small and start-up social enterprises.

We will share ideas and tips to make working with data more secure, more useful, and less stressful. We’ll work together on identifying common data challenges, creating a safe space for learning, and supporting each other to problem solve and iterate.

This learning community is commissioned by Social Enterprise Australia as part of the Australian Government’s Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI). It aims to build social enterprise sector capability to grow social impact.
